Hello!

My name is Maggie Wachtl. I teach Science at Cony High School in Augusta, ME. The impetus for starting this blog was my selection into the 2018-2019 class of the NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellowship.  I wanted a way to keep track and refer back to ideas and inspiration during my fellowship year, highlight the positives I experience while teaching, realistically discuss the challenges I face, and share advice and resources that I have found helpful.
